Gwen Burnett has been a Business Sales Executive for more than 20 years. She studied Fashion & Mechandising in Chicago and went onto Northwestern for her BA. During her tenure in the apparel business, she amassed millions in sales for US and International fashion brands. While aligning herself with high profile women’s and children’s apparel companies she implemented road maps to successfully procure new business with National retailers such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Lord and Taylor, Anthroplogie, Dillard’s, TJ Maxx, Saks Fifth Ave, to name a few.
Prior to her Sales exec management roles, she owned, designed, and produced children’s private label graphic inspired t-shirts. Overseeing the creative process and directing 12 sales/marketing teams led to successful ventures with many Chain and dept. stores. Eager to share her profits she created a platform and founded a non-profit foundation in 2001 to provide clothing for underprivileged Guatemalan children.
One of her greatest strengths is procuring new opportunities and launching brands, thriving on challenges, particularly those that expand beyond the companies reach. For fun, she enjoys traveling the globe for cultural diversity and fashion inspiration, giving back, riding horses, eating healthy, and staying fit. To date, she has traveled to over 100 countries
