Danica is proud to be a publicist with ChicExecs PR! From lifestyle host to breaking-news anchor and reporter, Danica McAdam is a powerhouse, bringing 13 years of television experience to our ChicExecs Public Relations team. Danica is a multi-Emmy nominated and award-winning broadcast journalist. She has mastered the art of storytelling over her television news career, covering stories in California, Utah, Florida, Oklahoma, and Idaho. She prides herself on her creativity, compassion, and ability to connect to people, growing her ever-expanding network in the process. Her dedication and genuine love for storytelling resonates through her on-air work, presentation and writing. She has interviewed top United States leaders and emceed countless non-profit events. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Southern California Chapter. She is deeply passionate about raising money to cure type 1 diabetes for children and adults worldwide. She strongly believes a cure is around the corner.
Danica started her TV news career in San Diego while attending San Diego State University (go Aztecs!) Most recently, she covered the news and weather for NBC 7 San Diego. She was nominated for two Emmys for her reporting and earned a 1st Place award with the San Diego Press Club. Danica is most proud though, of her two babies! Danica and her husband have a son and a daughter! Their children are the greatest blessings in their lives and they work hard at keeping them entertained! She says sometimes she feels like a circus monkey doing tricks on her head to keep them laughing!
