Feeling empowered and getting motivated is a tall order for anyone, even a Tokyo-bound Team USA Olympian. Valerie Arioto is best known for her tremendous success as a member of the USA Women’s Softball Team, winning medals in four WBSC World Championships. Yet her status as a world-renowned athlete didn’t always mean she was full of confidence and skated through life with blessed athletic ease.
What made Valerie a standout in her sport is her incredible work ethic and contagious positivity. Through pits and peaks at all levels, she’s learned lessons along the way that helped her stay upbeat, focused, and healthy on and off the field.
It’s those same life lessons and passion for self-care that inspired Valerie to create The Integrated Vault. Today, she applies the tools she learned on the field to help guide women to feel their best, find balance, and be high performers. Valerie is on a mission to transform the lives of young women from simply maintaining to thriving and shining.
The Vault is a multi-faceted online mecca for all things involving personal growth. Whether you’re stepping up your self-care, looking to grow your leadership skills, or trying to find a better balance in life, The Vault’s virtual reservoir of videos, checklists, and worksheets will help you identify and reach your goals.
Valerie shared the five things she does daily as an Olympic athlete with Clean Living.
1) Put thoughts to paper
2) Be feeling-forward
3) Listen to your body
4) Plan ahead (journaling)
5) Eat with your gut
